Panoramas from around the world

I am gradually constructing panoramic images and placing them in this suite of directories, ordered by country, then city, then monument. The images are of three main kinds, and all work in a web browser:
  1. small: usually no larger than three megapixels in the longer dimension;
  2. large: several megabytes, which might choke some browsers;
  3. pan-and-zoom. For an extension of the same program cf. the presentations directory;
Some of these panoramas are far from perfect.

      Pan-and-zoom panoramas
      within a web browser

      This suite of images uses a viewer (from www.pixaround.com) to display panoramas. Clicking on the numbers below will bring up the viewer in a web browser; clicking on the .exe will download the same package for execution on a Windows computer. In both cases, panning and zooming is available, with an online HELP file.

      Please be patient when loading these often LARGE images!
